EXHIBITION SCHEDULE

Art+Time features a series of watch part relics and components encapsulated in solid lucite sculpture.

This exhibition confronts the irony of movement frozen in time. It deals with the phenomenon and idea that time never stops.

Time is precious. Once gauged by the sun and the moon, the mechanism that measures has evolved at an exponential pace through sophistication, technology and movement.   The watch was designed to keep working despite the motions caused by the person's activities. Made up of many intricate components, each part with purpose and function.

This body of work is about exploring themes related to the perfect harmony of motion suspended in time.

To pay homage to Master Watchmakers Efim Khankin extensive and coveted archive, the works of Art+Time aim to awaken a human relationship with the passage of time, an ongoing "now moment" that everyone finds themselves inhabiting.

Art | Basel 2016 capsule collection are all 1 of 1 N. Miami guns/SHREDS® encapsulated in color dyed, solid lucite sculpture. 40 unique pieces in total.

SHREDS® are the pieces of guns that remain after they've been voluntarily turned in through gun buy back and amnesty programs or seized from crime scenes from across America. We transform SHREDS® into something beautiful by encasing them in solid lucite, to create a one of kind sculpture. A percentage of the proceeds from each sale are donated to the Caliber Foundation to help victims, families and communities that have been devastated by illegal gun violence. #calibercollection. #rasiethecaliber. #josephjeup
