We are a Detroit-based scent creation and branding studio that transforms fragrance into a strategic tool for brands, spaces, and experiences. We don’t just make candles. Scent branding is the art and science of encoding a brand’s personality, values, and story into a proprietary fragrance. DetroitWick is rooted in Corktown. Detroit’s oldest neighborhood and the heart of the city’s creative and industrial renaissance.
Our home, the Blanco Building, sits at 2564 Michigan Avenue, directly across from the iconic Michigan Central Station, now the centerpiece of Ford Motor Company’s innovation campus. It’s a fitting address for a studio obsessed with reinvention.
The Blanco is more than a production facility. It is a living, breathing demonstration of what DetroitWick stands for:
On-site production and manufacturing: Every product is made right here, in full view of visitors. There is nothing behind a curtain. You can watch an idea become an object.
A working boutique: A carefully curated retail space featuring DetroitWick collections, limited-edition collaborations, and products you won’t find anywhere else.
A scent branding facility: Where client projects are developed, tested, and refined.
An event and creative launch space: The Blanco doubles as a gallery and launchpad for creatives. We host events, openings, and brand moments, and we actively give emerging talent the space to curate, show, and sell their work.
Our goal for every person who walks through the door is simple: engage all five senses before they leave.
